Course 1
Course Learning to glaze your painting
Glazing is a painting technique in which thin, transparent layers of paint (glacis) are applied on top of each other, after letting each layer dry very well before applying the next layer. This process gradually builds up the depth and complexity of a painting. The technique of glazing is a useful technique for any painter. Glazing allows you to deepen and enrich colours. Oil and acrylic colours are best suited for glazing.
In addition to the extensive basic knowledge, you will learn to glaze, but also observe better and also improve your knowledge and skills in painting.
Everyone is guided by me at their own pace.
Teaching material has been compiled for this course with all the essential information as an aid.
You may choose your own subject to paint. The easiest way is to use a photo. Among other things, you will learn to enlarge the image of your photo on the painter's canvas using a transparent drawing grid.
